Merchandiser - Concession Multiple

This is an exciting, challenging, rewarding and key role in a fast-moving fashion environment working for one of the leaders in concession retailing for the over 40's ladieswear market.

You will be responsible for :

- Managing all stock and related promotional materials: overseeing stock intake, allocation/reallocation and replenishment to over approx.40 concessions countrywide. This will include taking appropriate actions for special promotions, events etc

- Forecasting and planning future stock requirements and sales.

- Overseeing a Distribution team of 5: This role will suit someone with strong distribution or stock control experience who is comfortable managing a team.

- Providing full support to the merchandising and buying teams

- Liasing with suppliers

- Occasional store visits to ensure promotions , stock layout plans etc are carried out appropriately.

Key Skills and experience required:

Ideally, a degree [ or similar experience /qualifications]

Strong analytical, numerical and computer skills.

Preferably 1 years experience in stock merchandising/ allocation in a head office environment.

Keen commercial awareness: Familiarity with ladies retail clothing business an advantage.

Excellent communication ,organisation and negotiation skills in order to deal with our own staff, both at head office and in concessions, store managers and suppliers.
