Northampton College is one of the larger regional providers of Further Education in the UK. Having recently moved into a brand new state of the art building we are now welcoming cohorts of 25 Level 3 Fashion students a year. All of these students have the opportunity to use industry standard machinery and equipment in our 2 purpose built fashion workrooms
About the role
This is your opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals as Course Leader of our successful BTEC National in Fashion and Clothing. As Course Leader you will bring your passion and experience to a course that consistently places students on top degree courses. This role is designed for someone lives the latest trends and industrial practice and can bring this into their teaching practice. You will work with the team to deliver accurate assessment and internal verification and to invent fresh exciting project ideas that build our students skills and challenge their creativity.
You are a highly motivated individual with a relevant qualification at L4 or above and experience of leading a Fashion and Clothing course at L3 or above, or an experienced teacher with sound knowledge and aspirations. Experience teaching Fashion Design through to pattern cutting and garment production is essential, ideally based on industrial experience as is sound knowledge of BTEC qualifications
