The Company: Our client is one of the leaders in fashion textile design and is looking for an experienced Designer to join them in Philadelphia, USA
Textile/Print Designer - The Role
*Creating original, feminine, intricate print & embroidery designs
*Drawing, painting and illustration plus CAD
*Research and report on industry print and art related trend direction
*Travel to trade shows
Textile/Print Designer - The Candidate
*Previous experience in a textile/print design studio is essential
*Highly creative
*Feminine handwriting
*Excellent hand sketching ; Photoshop & Illustrator is beneficial
*Clear, confident communicator
*Comprehensive knowledge of construction and all creative techniques in relation to silk screening, embroidery, flock, foil, embellishment and washing, dyeing treatments
