Job Description: Ladies Knitwear Designer
The Company: Our client is a successful manufacturer and due to continued success they have an opportunity for an experienced Knitwear Designer.
Knitwear Designer - The Role:
*Working closely with the Director, you will design at least 4-5 collections a year
*Your focus will be designing ladies knitwear for UK & European retailers
*Researching the latest trends & yarns
*A face to face role working with the customer, providing design and trend input
*Sourcing the latest yarns and accessories to use in the collections
*Travel to Europe to present collections
Knitwear Designer - The Candidate:
*Producing on trend artwork, mainly by CAD (Illustrator)
*You must have experience of designing ladies knitwear for the UK and/or European markets - either at a supplier or a retailer
*A good understanding of yarns
*Young, trendy, quirky handwriting
Knitwear Designer - The Package
