The Company

Our client, a well established large worldwide retailer is looking for new talent for International Merchandising team.

The business offers an international work environment, with lots of development and progression.

As an International Merchandise Manager your role will be highly analytical and focused on ensuring you get the right product at the right time for you market.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To analysis product performance, and react accordingly

  • Responsibility for managing the style assortment of the respective product and store group and it´s performance

  • Editing a tailored assortment to fit the sales profile of each store within the respective store group from predetermined themes and monoproduct

  • Initial unit quantities at style / store level for the tailored assortment

  • Optimizing NOOS assortment for respective store group and manage the NOOS forecast for the stores for his / her portfolio

  • To define the product mix for areas under your responsibility

  • To monitor the margin’s ensuring you stay in line with the category objectives

  • Monitor stock flow to stores

  • Brief creative buyers on product performance

  • Date returns / movement of stock from stores (own retail stores and e-shop only) of her / his portfolio to DC / other stores

  • Regularly analysis market needs via editorials, competitive shops and internet research

  • Profile

  • Degree holder with a minimum 3-4 years of merchandising experience in retail industry

  • Must have a good track record of achieving sales and profit targets

  • Strong analytical ability

  • Excellent command in both written and spoken French/English or Chinese/English

  • Willing to relocate to Germany

  •  

    The successful candidate will be someone with a real ‘can do’ attitude who is looking to join an exciting company and really progress up the ranks internally. It is essential that they come from analytical background.   

     

    The ideal candidate must be fluent or in french or in chinese.
