Superdry is continuing to expand rapidly on a global basis and across multiple channels. We are moving decisively into the US and China, and will open numerous stores there in the coming years. We are also opening many new stores across Europe, as well as growing significantly across our wholesale and ecommerce channels. This growth, coupled with the work of our incredibly creative and innovative design team, will drive an increased demand for new product – all of which comes through our Sourcing, Production and Garment Technology teams.

We are responsible for identifying and procuring the quality raw materials that our garments are made from; for working closely with our numerous factory suppliers in Turkey, India and China and our regional offices in Delhi and Istanbul (we’ll open one in China next year too) to ensure that our products are manufactured to the highest quality standards in an environment with high ethical working standards; and for quality testing the construction of everything we make. Between us we ensure that the product you see in Superdry stores across the globe, on our websites or sold through a partner retailer, is of the highest possible quality, made with the best materials and put together to the most rigorous of standards.

This role is vital in managing the production of the critical path of orders from factory placement to final customer delivery. The role requires someone with production, wholesale or merchandising experience, ideally with a fashion background.  This is a busy role, suited to someone who is forward thinking, able to use their own initiative to problem solve and who has high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be able to proactively manage factory performance to meet required order specifications and delivery timelines
  • Be responsible for placing orders with suppliers within customer requirements. Track and monitor progress from buy through to forwarder handover
  • Be able to manage key performance indicators to achieve targets including on time delivery performance, order confirmation, etc
  • Provide superior service to internal customers, ensuring regular updates and clear, consistent communication
  • Have the ability to quickly become an expert on internal systems, ensure that information is up to date, accurate and reflects the actual situation at all times, in order to successfully support the business
  • Other projects and tasks as required to support a fast paced, growing business

What we’re looking for

  • Numerical and analytical skills
  • Intermediate/Advanced level in Excel
  • Must be able to cope with the pressures of working in a fast-paced environment

  • An understanding of the production process and the critical path of a garment from production to arriving in store
  • Commercial acumen
  • Understanding of our customers’ needs and buying trends
  • Educated to degree level, a fashion related degree preferred
