We have partnered with a beautiful and developing Lingerie business to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Merchandiser to grow and develop the function.

Job title: Merchandiser (UK)

Reporting to: Managing Director
RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgets
o Prepare initial seasonal budget (by talking to buyer, analysing seasonal performance and take the total offer in considerations). Keep track within season of budget.

Reporting and analysing
o Report and analyse the business regularly from all angles (margin, seasonal performance, brand or category performance, transfers, advice on OTB…) and suggest actions that can be taken to improve KPI's. (including vendor reports)
o Do ad hoc analysis where needed and requested. Work very closely with local buyer and Global Head of Buying to provide reports that are needed for the business and requested.Place weekly replenishment on stayer assortment. A couple of times a year completely review the stayer assortment with buyer and Head of Buying.

Stock management: Managing levels and distribution of stock
o Analyse obsolete stock and look for solutions to reduce this
o Help stores with the goods in of an item if needed to correct inventory
o Help with stock take Margin
o Report and safeguard margin
o Pricing analysis

Mark down
o Make initial, second and third phase mark down proposals
o Daily analysis of mark down performance during the mark down periods
o Upload mark down prices in the system
o Responsible for all markdown communication to the stores

POS system
o Set up all needed reports and stayer programs in new system
o Advanced user. Follow up on EDI flow, price lists imports, inventory,…
 Work very closely with local buyer. Help each other out where needed to realize team deadlines.Work closely with marketing, field manager and the local managing director. This going from organizational tasks for stores to feedback on inventory needs. Develop good relationships with the stores. Help other departments when needed Continuously expand knowledge of the industry by reading industry magazines and doing competitors analysis.

SKILLS
 BA degree
 3 to 5 years (minimum) of experience in buying
 Excellent analytical skills and a high level of commercial and business awareness
 Must have good written and verbal communication skills
 Mind-set for problem solving and working toward continuous improvement
 Efficient and very detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
 Ability to handle multiple diverse projects in a timely manner
 Deep level of Excel knowledge
