Working directly with, and supporting the Senior Purchasing Merchandiser for this Heritage Brand you will be responsible for raising purchase orders and monitoring of the supply chain process to ensure goods are delivered in time whilst maintaining margin.

Main Tasks:
*Once Order Confirmations (OC's) have been sent, chase Buying Confirmations (BCs) from suppliers and ensuring they are accurate

*Raising of Purchase Orders (POs) for finished goods

*Update buying trackers with details of OC's, BC's and PO's sent.

*Daily communication with our global offices, agents, suppliers and factories during the production process to ensure any issues or problems are dealt with quickly and with as little impact to the business as possible.

*Monitor the production critical path and liaise with suppliers in advance of shipments and production meetings to ensure dates are completed and accurate for goods to be delivered on time.

*Chase in invoices and packing lists from suppliers for consignments shipped in the week

*Be aware of and highlight any issues to the Merchandisers for sign-off and follow-up.

*For any changes to delivery dates - analyse customer required dates, amend ex-dates or shipping method if required, and update IT systems accordingly, whilst ensuring that all relevant parties are kept advised of the status.

*Ensuring all suppliers are aware of the requirements of goods purchased under identifier, and all product is labelled, ticketed and packed correctly. Requesting photo evidence as necessary.

*Ordering customer tickets and arranging to send to factories as required

*Liaising with Product Development and Garment Tech Team in weekly meetings to ensure that Special Make-Up orders (SMUs) for customers are on time and all components are approved to maintain agreed customer delivery dates.

*Communicating with the sales and customer services team to keep them informed of any potential issues, and advising them of any under or over shipments.

*Efficiently and effectively operate and maintain IT systems, including weekly system housekeeping

*Maintain Supplier Database for all Brands, along with Shipping Matrix and other critical documents.

*Attend seasonal brand launches

*Approving non-merchandise invoices, and raise POs for the accounts team
