As the Digital Trading Manager for Nike’s global.com store, you will deliver the planned sales and profitability of your department by managing and optimizing the brand through effective in season planning and trading.
You will regularly analyze the department’s performance in order to make tactical adjustments to leverage opportunities for increased profitability. You will obsess and trade all localized sites, maximizing their sales potential and ensuring all business KPIs are achieved (traffic, conversion and UPT, AOV).
Working alongside the Planner Manager, you will ensure optimal pre-season & lead in season trading whilst maximizing the brands strategy. You will adopt global directed assortments and liaise with the global content team to ensure content aligns with your sites’ assortments.
Through cross-functional communication and stakeholder management, you have the responsibility to ensure all product is tracking to go live and available on site.
• 5 years’ experience in retail merchandising/planning is essential, including a minimum of 1 year leading a team.
• Ability to solve complex problems; take a new perspective using existing solutions
• Strong Excel, communication and analytical skills
• Proficient information seeking skills and drive for results
• Ability to work in a constantly changing landscape with ambiguity which will be aligned with setting up a new business.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders with ease.
• Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
• Ability to follow-through and meet timelines
