Berghaus is the No 1 in waterproof clothing; well known by outdoor enthusiasts, from hill walkers to high altitude mountaineers and is seen as authentic, consistent and reliable. They now have an opening for an Assistant Product Manager to join their Product Team based in Sunderland.

In this role you will assist and support the Product Management team in the timely and accurate management, research, benchmarking and delivery of the seasonal business plan, line list and collections. You will be the main point of contact in the product creation process to ensure all range plan information is accurate and communicated in a clear and timely manner. You will maintain all information and will also be the main point of contact for License business within Product, coordinating the calendar and tracking against seasonal timelines.

Responsibilities will include maintaining the seasonal business plan and line list with all updates and accurate information, communicating changes to all relevant parts of the business and being the main point of contact for all range plan changes, proactively monitoring progress against the plan, identifying and raising issues or concerns as needed. You will maintain the License seasonal range plan, joint business plan documents, proto reviews and key product meetings with responsibility for alignment to all brand guidelines, standards, testing, quality, branding, labelling for product and owning and maintaining the packaging schedule.

Working with key departments to ensure all information is delivered on time and in full against seasonal timelines, coordinating the sales launch sample preparation and will be the main Product Team point of contact for seasonal sales launch, supporting Product Management on presentation and deliverables required for sales launch.   

Ideally you will have worked in a similar role with a knowledge or interest in the Outdoors. You should have strong administration experience including the creation and management of plans, working to strict deadlines, data analysis and drawing business conclusions. It is essential that you have strong numeracy, analytical, organisational and time management skills. A team player with good attention to detail and proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
