Head of Menswear Design
Our client is a respected lifestyle brand, their portfolio includes mens, ladies and childrens clothing, accessories and footwear. Well established, they have an in-house design and technical team who ensure that each product is designed and developed to the very best standards. They are committed to comply with the ethical trading base code and ensure that their suppliers do the same.
They now have an opening for an experienced Head of Menswear; Reporting to the Product Development Director, in this key role you will be responsible for driving forward a new vision of the menswear range that will not only grow sales and margin, but also drive brand-credentials, in line with overall Company Strategy and objectives; Owning and being responsible for all areas of design from conceptual vision, apparel design, fabric and trim sourcing, tech packs, proto sample comments, 1st price negotiations to improve the overall margin and salesman samples into the business prior to sales launch. You should be able to sell ideas to Senior Management, Sales Team and external customers for SMU ranges.
Applications are invited from experienced Senior Menswear Designers who have a full understanding of the complexities of Multi-Channel retailing in the UK/Europe; able to create and achieve seasonal range plans, range segmentation and marketing story opportunities, identify new product opportunities and drive through a clear vision for the brand to ensure market growth.
