This role is ideal for those living in the regioins of Nottingham and Birmingham. An opportunity has arisen to work for an established thriving  premium retailer brand with a large portfolio of stores throughout the UK who are experiencing terrific sales and growth. They  are currently looking to recruit and experienced area manager to look after C  20  stores with a turnover is the region of £20-25m. 
If you are an experienced Area Manager who thrives in a fast paced environment and have a proven track working in Fashion Beauty or Accessories and are looking for a new opportunity where you can be rewarded and valued then this opportunity could be a pivotal role in your career progression.  

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Coach and lead store managers to ensure high standards of training, visual merchandising and point of sale 
  • Accountable for driving excellent KPI results in all your stores and accounts as well as meeting your own sales related objectives
  • Regularly review and build action plans around the set KPIs
  • Drive profit through increasing revenue and top line sales
  • Support store openings and events 
  • Drive local promotions and special events, with support from Marketing
  • Ensure all visual merchandising in store is carried out in line with the brands guidelines and branding
  • Utilise reporting systems and tools to analyse business performance and take prompt corrective action as appropriate
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, store owners, franchisees and staff
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from all head office functions
  • Lead by example, provide coaching and feedback to drive high standards and performance from
  • Train and support store managers to effectively use developmental action plans to coach their  store teams

Person Requirements 
  • A solid background in fashion, beauty or jewellery 
  • Experience around scheduling, productivity, stock optimisation, payments and territory management
  • Computer literate, proficient in MS Office
  • Experience with visual merchandising and a creative flair
  • Strong sales, negotiation and influencing skills
  • High level of business acumen and experience around strategic planning
  • Ability to work in a fast, paced retail environment
  • Self-motivated to work independently and as part of a team
