Our Client is a well-established, design led business that supplies clothing, interiors and beauty products to major high street retailers and supermarkets. They are looking to recruit an Assistant Merchandiser to join their proactive Merchandising team.
The merchandising team provides the cornerstone of all our orders and works seamlessly with the factories, off-shore offices and customers to ensure each element of the order is fulfilled and signed-off. The Assistant Merchandiser is responsible for supporting the end to end lifecycle of products, working with the merchandise team and suppliers to achieve critical path deadlines.
You will work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure samples arrive to schedule, any changes are actioned and new samples received. You will update the critical path, manage orders from inception to delivery, ensuring goods are delivered to specification and meet technical requirements, whilst keeping customers updated at all times.
This is a busy and varied role, working in a team driven environment and requires excellent communication, administration and Excel skills. Good attention to detail is also required as is a strong commercial awareness. Ideally you will have some prior experience in a similar Merchandising role or alternatively a strong background in Administration.
