Zachary Daniels are currently recruiting for an Assistant Buyer based in South Yorkshire.

As an Assistant Buyer your main responsibility will be to work closely with the Buyer to create an outstanding range which provides high quality products at an affordable price. As a key contact for existing suppliers you will help to maximise profits through negotiation and maintenance of excellent margins whilst sourcing new suppliers across the globe.

You will be given the chance to travel the UK to attend various buying meetings and trade shows and will constantly be on the look out for the next big thing. With so many product categories available in the business there are opportunities to work on a number of areas as the company believes in promoting from within and wants employees to work on the category they love.

In order to be considered for the position you must have at least 18 months experience in a retail buying role within a non-clothing category and preferably in a fast paced retailer.
