Zachary Daniels are recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser in the Redditch area.

Join an extremely successful retailer who specialise in accessories and due to continued success are expanding their merchandising team with a number of appointments.

As an Assistant Merchandiser you will be responsible for supporting the Merchandiser with day-to-day duties to achieve agreed KPIs in order to drive sales and maximise profits for the business. You will be the main point of contact for suppliers, developing the relationships in the best interest for the brand and controlling the supply chain in the process. You will assess previous sales performance to gain an in-depth understanding of trading and suggest best courses of action for the best and worst selling lines.

The Assistant Merchandiser will be given the opportunity to work across a range of departments including close development with Designers, Buyers, Marketing and artists. Depending on previous experience you could have a high level of responsibility and as the company is expanding rapidly the role will develop in the direction you want and grow as you are ready to progress.

In order to be considered for this position you must have at least 2 years experience working as an Assistant Merchandiser in a retail merchandising head office environment ideally within a large retailer.

Ideally you will also -

Be fluent with Excel

Have experience of WSSI management
