Home to a plethora of fashion and Swiss brands including HUGO BOSS, Ebel, Movado, Coach, Lacoste, and Tommy Hilfiger - MGS Distribution operate as the UK subsidiary of the Movado Group, with an outstanding reputation for delivering excellence within the Watch & Jewellery trade.
There now exists an opportunity to join the group, heading up the continued growth and sales of the Tommy Hilfiger brand across the South of the UK. You will assume sales responsibility for the independent market from the Midlands down, with the ability to account manage and develop lasting relationships to ensure the continued success of the brand.
The successful individual will be responsible for presenting the brands collections, core values and maintaining brand integrity with both new and existing accounts. Furthermore the successful individual will be able to draw strong brand adjacencies – recognising the product positioning amongst competitors and contemporaries alike.
As the authority on all things product, you will drive sell through performance by critical analysis, relationship building and your ability to tell the brand story, in a way that allows the retailers staff to communicate the key messages to the customers.
Ideally you will be familiar with the Watch and/or Jewellery marketplace already but this is not essential and those from transferable backgrounds will also be strongly considered.
As a well organised individual you will be expected to work autonomously to your own journey plan ensuring no stone is left unturned. You will also competently and accurately analyse and forecast potential sales growth within your territory, reporting directly to the National Sales Manager.
Ideally you will be well positioned within the watch and jewellery trade presently, with field relevant experience. However, we welcome applications from individuals outside of the watch and jewellery trade – perhaps with structured FMCG background or branded sales environment. Most importantly you will have previous field sales experience. Importantly individuals must be passionate about consumer brands and adore everything that is fashionable.
The territory is defined as ‘Southern UK’ taking in all independent retail space south of the Midlands region. The requirement is to be based on territory, ideally accessible to the M25 and M4.
The requirement is to be ‘visible on territory’ calling on both prospect and existing accounts to manage, create and supply the demand created through its national success and highly commercial product composition.
