In October 2014 Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green announced a new partnership – an athleisure brand named IVY PARK launching in Spring 2016. The joint venture is equally owned by Topshop and Parkwood Athletic with Sir Philip and Beyoncé both assuming roles of Founders. The partnership, not collaboration, is designed and managed by a newly created standalone team based in London. Ivy Park will look to establish itself as a global market leader in Athleisure, clothes which are appropriate for both athletic and leisure activity in the fastest growing sector in the womenswear market today.

The brand will be launched into 38 different countries across North America, Europe, Middle East and Australia. The scope of the brand within the market enables it to access consumers across a number of different channels from Premium Independents, Department Stores, Sporting Goods, Apparel Specialty and Pure Play. The ambition of the Brand is to become a market leader in its sector, engaging a core consumer set between 18-35 years to make women look and feel at the top of their game – whatever they’re doing and wherever they are.

Ivy Park will constantly evolve and expand further overseas. Our business development team manages the relationship with our Topshop franchise and wholesale partners abroad, as well as the co-ordination of product, marketing and visual merchandising to ensure that our international customers enjoy the same shopping experience as they would in the UK.

Role Overview:

As Marketing Manger you will manage and help deliver an integrated international marketing program across the brand’s wholesale partners to ensure that marketing plans are developed in line with the brand vision and values. Reporting to the Head of Marketing you must be able to demonstrate solid marketing experience in a similar role, as you will be instrumental in executing the brand strategy as well retail marketing programs within this growing area of the brands’ global business model and driving the success.

Key objectives:
• Responsible for driving and developing consumer marketing activity within the retail and wholesale environment - driving awareness, footfall and sales via tactical marketing campaigns, in line with the overall brand strategy and ensuring that a multi-channel marketing approach is applied
• Manage and develop our growing wholesale business estate - building robust marketing plans upholding our brand vision and values together with our partners
• Manage retail design agency to develop brand tone of voice and look & feel at retail, from in-store design through to marketing campaigns
• Along with the HOM develop the annual marketing strategy for the business, setting KPI’s and objectives and analysing performance against them regularly with evaluation of ongoing initiatives.
• Devise and execute integrated marketing campaigns with key wholesale stakeholders working alongside internal teams in Digital, PR, Online, and Creative, Merchandise, Buying to ensure communication between these functions is consistent and effective
• Develop a clear two way info-flow between the Marketing team and the wholesale stakeholders, develop processes to effectively deliver all relevant updates
• Constantly being on the look out for innovating & exciting new opportunities that would add value to the customer experience of the brand through wholesale/franchise partnerships
• Approaching all campaigns & partnerships with enthusiasm, thorough research and local knowledge.
• Provide activity analysis (based on objectives and KPI’s)
• Ensure that the approval process is followed and all work is signed off with HOM.
• Ensuring all projects are completed within budget and on time
• Provide insightful marketing analysis, developing the customer profile, monitor consumer behaviour, competitor analysis & brand positioning statements
• Responsible for marketing project budgets, providing Head of Marketing with a reconciliation budget
• Develop a clear two way info-flow between the Marketing team and the wholesale stakeholders, develop processes to effectively deliver all relevant updates
• Preparation & management of all relevant internal communications for meetings and internal information platforms
• Lead team meetings / conference calls & brainstorm sessions.
• Manage, mentor and develop a marketing assistant

Key Skills:
• You must have a strong background in multi-channel brand and retail marketing & communications ideally from a fashion/lifestyle brand.
• You will be an articulate and confident communicator with the ability to manage numerous internal and external stakeholders. The ability to influence and guide is essential to the success of this role.
• Possess excellent project management skills, from devising concepts through to execution on time and to budget
• Highly organised and ability to critique creative work to be brand appropriate
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• Ability to perform, under pressure and act on own initiative
• Demonstrate a strong interest in fashion/sports, trends and athletics
• Demonstrate a flexible approach to work in a fast paced and changing environment
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team and as a self-motivated individual
• Be able to influence effectively at all levels and negotiate to achieve desired results
• Be able to take direction as well as producing results independently

• Demonstrate previous experience in an International role
• Display a confident understanding of trade, retail and wholesale marketing
• Not afraid to hit the ground running, and get down in the trenches when it’s needed
