Our client, one of UK’s leading independent Sportswear brand-houses, is looking for an experienced, organised and self-motivated Merchandising and Production Coordinator  to work within a friendly, enthusiastic and excelling Operations team.

 

THE JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Merchandising and Production Coordinator , you will be managing the Supply Chain and Critical Path closely liaising with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and to resolve any arising issues. You will be a proactive, diligent and energetic individual with excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Creating product lists / line list – Ensuring product lists are created on the ERP system (STYLEman) once approved by the product team – with regards to product category, composition, FOB cost, landed cost, trade price and RRP.
  • Uploading Sales orders in the ERP system, creating and sending sales order confirmations to customers.
  • Creating purchase orders – Ensuring purchase orders are linked to sales orders and sent to vendors with required order information, bar code information, anti-counterfeit label order, packing information and shipping information.
  • Track – production schedules -Once purchase orders are raised, review Critical Path weekly to identify any potential issues. Raise any such issues/delays with Operations Manager, Sales team and with customers if necessary.
  • Stock receipts – Doing GRN once goods have arrived into our warehouse.
  • Allocations – Once goods have arrived, ensuring relevant orders are allocated
  • Picking – Creating pick tickets when goods are due to be dispatched
  • Dispatch – Making relevant customer bookings for dispatch.
  • Housekeeping – ensuring data is kept clean and updated
  • Ad hoc reporting and customer service.
  • Liaising with sales and marketing teams to support overseas key customers in Germany, Spain, Middle-East and USA.

Essential Skills

  • At least 4 years’ experience in  Operations/ Production or Supply Chain Co-ordination experience in the apparel/fashion industry
  • Experience of working with overseas factories. 
  • Experience on FOB shipments and shipping documentations required from China, India, Indonesia and Turkey sources for exporting to the UK, EU, Middle-East and USA.
  • Good team player with ability to work independently with a great work ethic and ability to take on additional tasks when necessary
  • Experience in STYLEman is an advantage even though it is not a must have since training would be given on the latest Version 11.
  • Experience on using Spreadsheets, Pivot Tables and having any other relevant analytical skills for reporting will be an advantage.
