THE JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Sales Support and Logistics Assistant you will be responsible for the following Wholesale Customer Service and Logistics responsibilities.

  • Managing existing UK and Middle East Accounts to ensure repeat business
  • Communicating with customers and sales team regarding orders via telephone or email
  • Providing regular updates and communications to sales teams ensuring they are fully aware of any account issues, order delays etc.
  • Supporting the sales team internally regarding sales meetings, showroom and administrative duties
  • Dealing with credits, returns and debits or finance issues
  • Liaising with factories, Warehouse and Logistics concerning any shortages, processing, bookings or returns
  • Resolving customer enquiries quickly and ensure that they are answered in full and accurately
  • Running weekly reports and communicating with Customers and relevant Head Office teams as per need.
  • Informing Customers on Free to Sells, Strike-offs, stock availability/shortage.
  • Inputting orders into the system and monitoring of Sales Force
  • Working closely with the accounts department for invoicing information, etc..
  • Collation and consolidation of the monthly forecast and buys.
  • Ensure all customers are provided with documents before goods reach destination to ensure a smooth customs clearance.
  • Investigating shortages and overages and ensuring credit notes are raised accordingly.
  • Liaise with warehouse on a daily basis, regarding deliveries, short shipments, re-orders and returns 
  • Control the authorization of, and communication relating to, returns, including organising collections and returns, liaising with couriers and forwarders.

THE PERSON DESCRIPTION

  • At least 3 years’ experience in providing Wholesale Customer Service
  • Excellent organisational, communication and ‘people’ skills.
  • A strong commitment to customer service and a passion for getting things right first time.​
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good in Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage uncertainty in a fast-paced environment 
  • Self-motivated, confident and articulate 
  • Educated to Degree level
  • Experience in working with Asos will be an advantage.
