We are currently seeking for the next General Manager for a leading department Store in the heart of Dublin City Centre. You will be an ambassador of giving exceptional people experiences, drive a performance culture in store and coach the elite of Managers to be the best in; mentoring others, managing own P&L and improving at every turn. You will be an inspiring leader who has creativity to bring new ideas and be knowledgeable of trends in the market sector. You will work with your buying and visual teams to be ahead of the market to surprise and delight your customer experiences in store, while being realistic in profitability.

Work with your management team to deliver results, own recruitment drives, building the next generation of managers in the business through; training, developing and mentoring. Liaise with the Hr division to assist on company policy, people management and Hr disciplines in store.

Drive the working relationships not only with own brand but host brands in store through; networking, verbal and written communication and building the strength of the brand in the market. Drive the P&L for the store and identify opportunities and risks to maximise profit. Take responsibility for ensuring the store is compliant with internal audit measures - and drives consistency with your management team

You will believe in driving customer service in store showing the luxury industry not only how its achieved but always seeking to be better, measuring the performance of service through mystery shop results and acting upon customer experiences.

You will have proven leadership and understanding of the fashion industry and ability to promote effective teamwork. Have an exceptional commercial and operational history working with P&L accountability, with managing turnovers in excess of 100 million plus. Be a leader and have a presence to standout when meeting /greeting over 800 colleagues in store, be inspiring to others showing self-confidence and resilience.
