Merchandise Admin Assistant
Our client is a trendy and young handbags designer with several well known brands under its belt. Due to strong growth they are seeking a bright Merchandise Administrative Assistant to join their operations and merchandising team.
The MAA will be responsible for managing all orders for their concessions business on a day to day basis.
The idea is to support the sales team to ensure timely deliveries of orders and ensure all logistical requirements are met.
The Merchandising Admin Assistant will be responsible for:
-Attending sales meetings
-Attending trade shows
-Organising sample requests and liaising with 3PL logistics partners
-Work with inventory/stock control team to manage deliveries and timelines
-Monitoring stock levels for each concession
-Following the critical path and managing all orders on a day to day basis
-Proactively look out for gaps in processes and advise positive changes to improve overall efficiency
The ideal candidate:
-Will be of graduate calibre with some experience in logistics/merchandising in a retail head office environment
-Will have experience working on excel using basic formulae, pivot tables, V look ups
-Will be bright and switched on with a 'can do' attitude
-Will have excellent communication skills
