Our client are true innovators who spotted the luxury athleisure niche before it took off. The product offers the highest level of performance with cutting edge fabrics and ergonomic design, but coupled with an aesthetic normally associated with high fashion brands.

The brand targets a discerning woman who wants to work-out, meditate or play sport in garments that streamline and support the body, while providing durability and comfort, but designed using Italian luxury fabrics and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.

The brand quickly built a reputation and are now sold through the world’s best stores including Le Bon Marche, Net-a-Porter, Harrods and Lane Crawford as well as speciality sports retailers.

Following a second injection of investment the brand is now strengthening their team and wish to bring a Head of Global Sales to develop international ditribution and provide a clear strategic road map for the next stage of the brand's growth.

Working alongside the founder you will raise international brand awareness with the top tier department stores, prestigious independents and specialist sports retailers building meaningful and profitable relationships. The brand also believe there is an opportunity to distribute the brand through leading hotels who offer high class sports facilities as part of their accommodation package.

The role will be responsible for overseeing and developing both existing and new wholesale business in the international territories and would manage a small team. Although the position is a senior management role, it is still hands on and would be expected to lead sales with the marquee customers. The role will cover all aspects of sales and customer service, including identifying, contacting and maintaining a client base.

The brand wishes to develop its support to current stockists and key accounts and take the lead in developing promotions and incentives to stimulate sales performance each season.

We are looking for an experienced wholesale leader with strong international experience. This experience could be from the sports sector or a luxury on contemporary womenswear label. 

This position has the potential to offer a successful candidate share options after a qualifying period and has a very modern outlook to commerce. Additional languages are very desirable as is the agility to work in a business that still has the entrepreneurial start-up mentality.
