We are currently recruiting for one of the most successful suppliers to the high street both in the UK and across Europe. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their current team and are looking to recruit exceptional individuals who are extremely product focussed and have the ability to build on existing business to grow the turnover of their departments by working closely with buyers to expand on product ranges .

Our client is looking for a successful, experienced Account manager who has a proven track record within ladies wear and a solid understanding of wovens and ideally some jerseywear.  The account manager is required to understand the customer's demands, plan how to meet these demands, and generate sales for the company as a result as well as having the potential to develop new business and relationships.

Main duties of this role will include:

  • Generate sales for a portfolio of high street fashion retailers specifically  for women’s woven garments and reach the company's sales target
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling
  • Overseeing the critical path with the support of the merchandising teams to ensure all specific requirements are achieved
  • Work closely with the in-house design team and produce designs according to customer’s brief.
  • Manage and solve conflicts with clients 
  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account 
  • Establish budgets with the client and company  
Person requirements:
  • Previous Account Management across ladies woven dealing with high street accounts.
  • Able to work independently as well as having the ability wo work well within a team
  • To have an air of confidence and authority and an entrepreneurial outlook  
  • Strong on product development  
  • First class organisation and analytical skills
  • Ability to be customer facing and brand ambassador
