I am currently recruiting for a Trading Manager for a luxury brand who will be responsible for the active day-day trading and merchandising of all eCommerce sites, this role is a 12 month contract.

Your Responsibilities:

*Manage all digital sales channels including the website, in-store apps, and, once launched, collect from store and any other multichannel services
*Manage and execute the trading activity across the UK, German, US and European sites while meeting the conversion and sales targets for each region
*Drive pilot and subsequent rollout (if pilot proves successful) of the in-store ordering tool
*Management and budget responsibility for delivery of all photography requirements for online trading through the Digital Production Coordinator
*Drive design, development and implementation of the contact to order page. Own improvements to the product detail page: suggest changes, brief in to development team, work changes into development schedule, test and confirm release dates with the broader team.
*Manage and execute any changes required for site navigation, category structure, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
*Maintain and phase the eCommerce sales budget, forecasting planning models, and mid-term plan
*Manage web analytics and eCommerce reporting, and communicate daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal reports
*Lead regular eCommerce trading reviews with cross-functionality areas and agree actions to grow omni-channel sales in all regions
*Work closely with the brand marketing team to ensure all sales initiatives are on brand and in line with current campaigns.
*Review and feedback on the eCommerce buy, ensuring that size runs and overall numbers are inline with business targets
*Manage onsite merchandising and product sort order across all sites, run AB tests on different merchandising and sort rules to optimize performance and sales
*Manage and execute actions to optimize onsite search, synonym mapping and search redirects
*Update filter options, size conversion charts, colour names and any other product attributes on a day to day basis
*Support as needed on optimising 3rd party tools such as personalisation software
*Monitor eCommerce returns in partnership with the customer service and operations manager and take action to reduce return rate over time
*Raise bugs as needed via Jira with the ecommerce support team

Your Experience:

*Track record of successfully trading and merchandising multiple international websites in a direct to consumer eCommerce environment, preferably in a fashion or luxury environment and with international and multichannel scope
*Understanding of both the online retail industry and online consumer behavior
*Able to effectively translate brand values and guidelines into the digital space
*Ability to work with people at all levels and a strong attention to detail
*Customer centric and profit driven
*Excellent numerical skills and advanced Excel and web analytics tools (preferably GA)
*International mindset
*3-5 years experience in an online trading / merchandising role, ideally 2 of which were spent trading an online business, ideally in a non-promotion led environment
*Experience with Demandware platforms a strong plus
*Language skills are a plus
