Drapers investigates why people with disabilities are so invisible in the industry.

It is hard to believe that discrimination against disabled people was not made illegal in the UKĀ until 1995. Fifteen years later, the Equality Act 2010 replaced this legislation and addressed protected characteristics including gender, ethnicity, and disability, providing guidance on areas such as employment, reasonable adjustments in the workplace, recruitment, redundancy and retirement.
