An opportunity has arisen within TOPSHOP TOPMAN for a Digital Finance Manager.
As seen in the wider retail market, multichannel Digital is an increasingly key strategic building block and differentiator for both brands.
There are many exciting strategic initiatives to drive brand awareness in the US and Europe through investment in new stores, research and marketing. Our Digital channel will be key to the success of such initiatives, utilising social media and localised targeting to penetrate the markets.
Alongside, we continue to grow our core UK digital business through market leading innovation. Enhancing our customer proposition and offering a consistently exceptional customer experience across all our channels. We are investing heavily in developing our operations to support and promote a genuinely multichannel business.
To continue supporting the brand in all these areas, the Digital Finance Manager will play an integral role in partnering with the Digital function teams across both brands, as well as working closely with the central Arcadia Group Digital team.

Full ownership from a finance perspective of the Digital P&Ls for both brands

 Review and circulate weekly financial reports to Digital teams including the TOPSHOP and TOPMAN Digital Directors and Finance Director (FD)
 Provide analysis and insight to the FD ahead of Board trading updates

 Produce the Digital management accounts and review with the Finance Director and TOPSHOP and TOPMAN Digital Teams
 Streamline and optimise month end processes, working closely with the Buying & Merchandising and Central Finance Managers to ensure timely completion of all deliverables
 Support and challenge the TOPSHOP and TOPMAN Digital Merchandisers with sales forecasting, operational planning and cost control
 Improve the monthly sales forecasting process to create a robust view by market, incorporating driven and non-driven marketing spend
 Provide brand information to the Group Digital Team as and when requested including relevant commentary for inclusion in Group board packs
 Support the TOPSHOP and TOPMAN Digital Merchandisers with annual and seasonal planning processes – sales growth forecasting, budget setting and strategic goal setting
 Produce the Digital elements of the TOPSHOP/TOPMAN Corporate Plan
Business Case Support:
 Provide ad hoc project and business case support to the TOPSHOP and TOPMAN Digital teams as they investigate new ideas and technology
 Provide TOPSHOP/TOPMAN specific KPIs and business models to assist the Group Digital Team with Group wide initiatives / projects

 Drive cost control best practices and ethos into the Digital teams
 Work with Digital marketing to help understand split of spend, sales return on marketing spend, and how Digital marketing integrates into the brand strategy

- Digital experience preferred but not essential
 Management experience preferred but not essential
 Capable of establishing strong working relationships and credibility with the senior digital team
 Must be able to drive change and have a ‘can do’ attitude
 Strong analytical approach with a profit focused attitude
 Meticulous with detail whilst being able to see the bigger picture
 Comfortable with ever-changing deadlines
 Excellent Microsoft Excel and Office skills and adept at learning new systems
