Import Merchandiser – Ladieswear
An experienced Import Merchandiser is required to join this successful supplier of Ladies Fashion to well-known online and high-street retailers.
The successful Import Merchandiser will work on a specific account and be responsible for attending customer meetings, managing the critical path, placing purchase orders, managing the sample process and ensuring that the customers’ specific requirements are met and adhered to.
The Import Merchandiser will also work closely with the design team and account managers to develop products in line with key trends and customer needs. Other duties would include liaising with the suppliers in the Far East and ensuring that the orders are delivered on time.
Ideally applicants will have worked within the fashion industry within a similar role and must have experience of liaising and meeting with High Street retailers. Computer literacy and excellent communication skills are essential for this Import Merchandising position.
