We have partnered with a well known global brand to assist in the recruitment of a Retail Head of HR based in Central London. My client is looking for an inspirational leader who can champion best practice and get the best from people. Reporting to the HR Director you will be CIPD qualified generalist with a minimum of five to ten years' HR experience, at least three of which will have come within a fast paced retail environment.

As the Head of HR you are responsible for the following:
Monitor and report on key business HR metrics, partner with the business through the provision of strategic and business-focused HR consulting support.
Ensure a motivational climate in the organisation, including adequate opportunities for career growth and development.
Provide advice on and administer maternity and paternity leave cases.
Responsible for resource planning for maternity re-joiners
Establishing and implementing an HR offering that effectively communicates and supports the Company's vision and strategic objectives.
Developing the HR strategy in support if the Company's business objectives.
Line managing and developing HR team and ensuring that all documents and correspondence issued by the HR department is legally compliant, accurate and of a consistently high standard
Develop, implement and input across all existing and up and coming policies and procedures ensuring they are up to date and legally compliant.
Developing and executing an HR strategy to support the business agenda
Real focus & Development of Retail & wholesale strategy
Partner with the Managing Director and its leadership team to develop people strategies to grow and drive the business
Review existing process, such as:
oPerformance Management
oStaff Induction
oCompensation / Benefit programs.
oCoach senior business leaders
Own entire talent management and bench marking in the Retail Services group.
Support Retail Area Managers and Store teams by offering guidance on HR related questions and concerns.
