At Bravissimo our purpose is to inspire big boobed women to feel confident and amazing. When it comes to our products we are continuously amazed by our wonderful customers who have helped us to influence an industry, push boundaries and design and produce products that some said could never be made. We are a dynamic multi-channel retailer, offering lingerie, swimwear and clothing to fit and flatter women who are a D-L cup.

Bravissimo started in lingerie, but in 2001 we launched our first clothing product – the strappy top! We continue to design our collection to fit and flatter our customers. We now have a range of Bravissimo clothing all specifically focused on providing a great fit solution for women with bigger boobs. Our product team are key to making this happen and this role gives an opportunity to join a small team who really care about inspiring and empowering our customers through the clothing we design.

As a company, over the last 22 years we have experienced some substantial growth and we are now a £50 million-pound turnover business, with 28 stores across the UK as well as a well-established e-commerce operation. We continue to believe in and focus on our purpose which has resulted in the growth of our e-commerce into the USA and further store openings in the UK. We are also very passionate about our people, and we have been in the Times Top 100 Places to Work for the last 11 years.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead and inspire our product team to develop and deliver a range of Bravissimo Clothing from concept all the way through to production. You will report to the Product Director and have the desire to do a job which makes a difference to the way bigger boobed women feel. It is a broad role which gives exposure to a variety of activities within the product path.

Creating concepts and selecting our clothes is sometimes more difficult than you may think, because the only things our customers have in common is their bigger boobs. So, when it comes to deciding on a collection, you will need to be guided by what our customers like and find appealing, not by what’s in fashion or what’s on trend. Your passion will be based around finding solutions, not following trends. This means getting hands on and gathering feedback on fit, shape and appeal, as well as analysing and interpreting sales data and customer information to understand what is and isn’t working.

You will be responsible for the analysis, planning, briefing, creation and selection to deliver the clothing on time and in full for its launch date, as well as managing our suppliers, our price points and margins. You will recommend to the supply planning team, how much to buy of each style/size by using historical information and customer knowledge. You will also work hand in hand with our technical product team to develop the curvy fit within the design.

About You

You must enjoy and be good at both creative and analytical challenges, and be able and comfortable to switch between the two constantly throughout each day. To be successful in this role we need someone who thinks and acts part analyst and part artist i.e. you’ll need to be a creative person whilst also being great with numbers/data. You should be from a product background, but not necessarily from a specific sector. You could be working in clothing, footwear, tailoring, accessories or any other sector. Your sector of expertise is less important than your agility to learn and your desire to shape your work by our business purpose and our customers.

You will want to work across a broad remit, supporting the whole product development journey. You enjoy the buzz of a busy environment, and be someone who works positively with everyone in the team to get the job done. You’ll be a proactive and high energy individual who enjoys learning and communicates well.

You will be educated to a degree level, ideally in a related discipline. You will need experience in a people management position, ideally in a commercial environment, and you are likely to have managed a small team.

If this sounds like the perfect role for you, please submit your CV as well as a cover letter detailing why you would like this position and why you would like to work for Bravissimo, along with your current salary, to the email below. Applications without a full cover letter will not be considered.
