With an already impressive portfolio of brands, including the likes of Nike, Adidas and Puma, our roster is constantly expanding to encompass emerging talent too.

An exciting position has become available for an experienced women's footwear designer. The role will be primarily focused on own brand development across category.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Report into and work closely with the Senior Buyer
  • Work closely alongside the Senior Buyer to produce a trend led and commercially relevant range in line with company strategy
  • Develop a commercial and tread relevant range that will provide successful sales results
  • Attend global inspiration trips alongside the Senior Buyer to gain insight into up and coming trends
  • Attend tradeshows alongside Buying team to develop the range and work with key suppliers
  • Manage sample development process via design critical path to ensure deadlines are met
  • Provide point of contact (alongside Senior Buyer) when dealing with the supplier and development issues
  • Produce trend / key item reports to direct and develop up and coming ranges
  • Provide insight and expertise throughout the fitting process 

Your profile:

  • Experienced in working within a fashion lead footwear design role
  • Strong sense of international market trends and able to interpret this to demonstrate relevance to the target consumer
  • Strong creative mind that is aware of the target market and how to engage 
  • Experience in collating relevant research for the target consumer and presenting this back to the Buying team and other relevant teams in the company
  • Excellent free hand drawing skills to apply when visiting trade shows / supplier meetings
  • Highly skilled in using Mac Software 
  • Technical product knowledge that can be applied in fitting seasons / development meetings
