Leading casual luxury brand looking for an Area Manager to oversee their Retail Outlets across the UK. They specialise in clothing, leather goods, fragrances, footwear, linen, sunglasses, watches and underwear.


Your new role

The role of the Outlet Area Manager is to develop the Outlets business in the UK, and apply the strategy of the brand within the region. He/she is also responsible for managing and empowering the local retail team to achieve the brand vision: To become a unique sport inspired brand, improving profitability and desirability while respecting the company's values.

Business management:
* Defines the different KPI's and objectives of the POS with the retail director, and animates the business results throughout the region,
* Leads and drives the brand's strategy execution in stores,
* Drives the business on a day to day basis for the Region: KPI's, sales, promotions, store visits, staff hours, store costs, etc…,
* Creates and analyses business reports and brings corrective actions to reach budget & targets, reduce the costs and improve profitability,
* Drives an outstanding and premium customer experience for each POS,
* Builds a strong partnership with the other area managers of the UK and Europe and shares best practices to improve the business for the whole country,


People management:
* Builds a strong retail team and lead them to drive quality standards and take accountability for excellence in retail,
* Trains and coaches store managers to optimise business performance: Set goals, give specific feedback, give clear directions, teach thinking, measure progress, etc…,
* Empowers teams to become strong brand ambassadors,
* Develops the ability of direct reports to drive change and growth,
* Recruits the best managers in the retail market according to the brand values, identify the existing potentials, and creates actions to develop them,
* Leads the yearly appraisal meetings for direct reports, with S.M.A.R.T objectives,
* Actively participates in the promotion process, identifying and developing the next managers and successor,


Business Operations:
* Works closely with the VM department and ensure the Visual merchandising standards are applied in stores,
* Shares the customer's needs & purchase habits to improve the VM standards,
* Takes initiatives and actions to improve the different process in stores, and make sure the teams reach high standards,
* Takes actions to improve the customer satisfaction in stores and connect easily with our customers,
* Makes sure all health and safety procedures are followed.
* Builds a strong partnership with Malls' managers to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction and maintain business,
* Works closely with the planning and operations department to ensure that weekly and seasonal deliveries, goods in and out and stock procedures are undertaken as per the set guidelines,

Background:
* Must have experience as an Outlet Area Manager /good knowledge of the UK market

Specific requirements:
* Mobility (travel to different locations in the UK / IRELAND as per business needs) and language (Fluent in English).
