For several generations our client has held a leading local position in the sale of Fine Jewellery and Watches, reflecting the many advantages of dealing with a family-run business that naturally inspires trust.

An opportunity has now arisen to bring in a new senior team member. The timing could not be better, as our client has just completed a delightful store re-fit. Despite all the challenges our High Streets currently face, this store is set to continue to flourish, and this appointment will be instrumental in achieving the elevated store service goals that the Directors wish to accomplish.

Experience within the Jewellery trade will be enormously helpful, but our client will by no means ignore talented applicants from other reputable fields of retail career success.

They are seeking an individual who relishes every challenge a retail store provides: from everyday customer sales, to providing the very best after sales and service care, to keeping in-store and window displays to the agreed standard of perfection.

Those who work alongside you will be motivated by your example, seeing your daily fortitude and positivity in action, admiring your work ethic, team focus and “can-do” spirit, as you put your heart and soul into your work and encourage them to do the same.

Probably happiest when in front of your clientele, you are a well-structured sales presenter who will demonstrate the same level of excitement and infectious enthusiasm regardless of the item(s) being purchased, ensuring that each individual sale is likely to be followed by another.

In all retail settings there are moments when your focus can usefully switch to everyday display maintenance tasks; you action these efficiently and with an eagle eye for spotting where further effort is likely to achieve the greatest benefits.

Having observed customer behaviours and store processes, you are confident and commercially-minded enough to suggest new customer service initiatives, or possible areas of product that could be more cleverly re-stocked or finely-tuned to meet your clientele’s preferences - because for you, taking ownership of the store’s sales destiny and trading outcome is important.

In the future, your involvement could broaden to encompass not just what happens within the four walls of the store. Our client already attends relevant Trade events where they network with other enterprising Independently-owned Retail Jewellers, sharing best practice and keeping up to speed with the latest products and trends within the industry. They are also keen to explore further opportunities in the locality to connect with potential consumers, such as Wedding Fayres, Community Events and so forth; your ideas and involvement in these new ventures will be positively welcomed.
