A great opportunity to join one of the industry's long established ladieswear supplier as a Fabric Manager to come on board and take control of the process from base through to bulk fabrics.

About the company...

Our client is long established ladieswear supplier based just outside Central London, working with all the key high street accounts and specialising in mainly woven but also some jersey fabrics.

About the Role...

My client is looking for a talented Fabric Manager with experience working across the Fabric Critical Path utilising your technical skills and knowledge. The role consists of but isn't limited to:

Critical Path Management from taking control of raising Fabric orders with the mills through to bulk delivery and approval

Management of initial sampling and Base Fabric approvals, including trims where required

Risk assess all orders when confirmed to ensure any issues are pre-empted in the early stages to avoid delay

Management of test results, working closely with the customers on any issues or problems ensuring they are solved quickly and efficiently.

Work closely with the internal teams to ensure the correct labelling is added to the garments

Work through bulk fabric batch approvals, including testing and QC are all in line with customer specifications prior to fabric shipments

About you…

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role as well as:

Experience of working across a variety of fabric bases

Ability to work to and follow the critical path, working closely with the teams to ensure all delays are kept to a minimum

Able to provide strong Technical Knowledge on Fabric suitability, pre empting any issues prior to bulk

Computer literate and able to confidently manage and navigate both internal and external customer systems.

Ability to communicate well with overseas factories as well as with all internal team members

Methodical and meticulous in your approach to your work
