My client are looking for a Footwear Senior Buyer into the team. An opportunity to join a renowned multi-channel retailer, you will be joining a growing exciting and evolving business with countless opportunities to further your career. You will need to have experience in branded buying within the sports industry across all footwear.

Description

  • Ensure that the product strategy is delivered in line with the Company Business Strategy, taking full account of historical performance, market conditions and the key competitors. Maintain the core vision, mission and values of the business.

  • Ensure that there is a clear Critical Path process and that deadlines are met in order to achieve Business objectives.

  • Drive new ideas in product ranges through identifying opportunities

  • Focus on delivering product for our customer profile and maintain commercial vision

  • Manage the performance and development of direct reports to maximize individual and team performance.

Profile

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Footwear experience

  • Experience within sportswear brands

  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels including senior management

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within deadlines

  • Negotiating, people influencing and networking skills

  • Experience of leading a team of professional buyers
