Elite Associates have partnered with a beautiful contemporary accessories brand that is launching RTW to recruit a production manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing and already very successful business with a cult following among the fashion crowd.


Responsibilities:
Source new manufacturers and suppliers in Europe and Far East
Create & maintain the critical path for production.
Work closely with the team on pricing, production costs, and budgets
Work closely with the design team to make sure design vision is being carried through
Manage logistics and orders invoicing and shipping
Capacity planning and forecasting with factories to enable delivery deadlines to be met
Work with Zedonk to manage the development and production process
Negotiate costing and critical path dates, to achieve the best possible prices for materials and manufacturing and whist keeping to schedules
Keep the team updated on any issues which impact production and delivery dates
Maintain and build relationships with suppliers and communicate on day-to-day operations to ensure that productions run smoothly.
Be willing to travel to supplier factories to monitor quality of production.
Approve and manage production technical packs and follow through with supply chain partners.
Ensure QC testing and checking processes are in place.
Manage and produce necessary paperwork for production including delivery notes and packing lists.
International travel may be required.

The Ideal Candidate
Excellent organisational, logistics and negotiation skills
Coming from a Contemporary/Designer RTW background - some experience with young brands (3-10 years in business) and start-ups is desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi - task.
Excellent numerical skills.
Ability to maintain relationships across a wide variety of suppliers, source new manufacturers
Proven track - record and relevant experience with a womenswear fashion brand.
In-depth technical knowledge of pattern structure, textile development, make and finishing techniques as well as production process.
Strong problem solving abilities
Driven and passionate with a positive attitude
Must be a hands on, team player with a willingness to travel.
