Our Client are looking for a CRO Executive to join their growing team in County Durham. I am keen to speak to candidates who have previous experience in CRO, ideally from a B2B background with an excellent attitude and passion for marketing.

The CRO Executive will be responsible for the following:

  • Create and maintain a robust testing schedule
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis in all aspects of the digital journey to establish trends, opportunities and issues
  • Manage on-time, high quality test execution, to ensure validity and reliability of test data through the correct set up and user experience
  • Investigate issues and propose solutions by analysing data from a wide range of sources
  • Manage all conversion rate optimisation tests with third party suppliers, where applicable
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the test results and communicate the results to the wider business teams
  • Proactively form hypothesis for split tests
  • Provide clear and accurate reports that outline actionable insights to the key stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Insights and Analytics Executive to investigate issues and propose solutions to improve the conversion of the online shopper and increase the user experience
  • Support the wider marketing department initiatives as required


The successful CRO Executive will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Experience in CRO
  • Having a background in a B2C environment would be advantageous but not essential
  • CRO turns data into action through a test and learn methodology. You will be able to apply yourself to any problem using data
  • Have an analytical mind-set and be good at investigating, trend-spotting, solving problems and telling stories with data
  • Be able to provide examples of solutions you have created to solve problems using data
  • Able to understand the key data requirements of our clients and recommend what solutions exist or can be built to fulfil those requirements
  • Highly organised and able to multi-task
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills with the ability to adapt depending on the audience
  • Have an ability for identifying new ways to build client trust and increase account growth opportunities
