My client, a leading RTW luxury Womenswear brand, are looking for an experienced Studio/Atelier Coordinator to join their rapidly expanding London team.
Offering a salary of circa £21-28k depending on experience, the ideal Studio/Atelier Coordinator will:
-Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a women’s wear RTW brand
-Assist in the managing/book all freelance Creative Pattern Cutters and Machinists
-Work directly with the Product Development team throughout the development phase of the collection
-Assists the Atelier Manager in the budget of the Atelier and work closely with the Product Development Team and Design team to ensure the budget remains within seasonal targets
-Responsible for checking, logging, processing and paying of invoices relating to Studio expenses, Rent & Repairs/Renewals and Fit Model Trackers and day to day budgetary expenses.
-Organize the prioritization of patterns, cutting and machining to ensure a smooth regular work flow.
-Works in conjunction with the Raw Materials & Fabric Sourcing Manager to ensure all new fabrics have fusing suitability tests actioned as well as trials and are suitable for end use
-Raise Technical Sheets for all styles, prior to issuing a new style either in-house or to a supplier in conjunction with the Product Development Team and Garment Tech
-Responsible for all patterns being finished to a high standard with correct annotations, and any toiles or samples are correctly annotated and the relevant documents accompanying pattern or toile/sample are kept up to date.
-Oversees in-house preparation of fabrics for cutting for samples/packs.
-Supports the Atelier Manager in maintaining stock audit spreadsheets of all Atelier fabrics and components levels in conjunction with Product Development team and the RM&FSM.
-Ensure weekly meetings occur with the RM&FSM and Product Development team regarding stock levels
-Responsible for maintaining the Studio expenses, Rent & Repairs/Renewals and Fit Model Trackers
-All seasonal fabric and trims to be packed away at the close of the season.
Other duties of the Studio/Atelier Coordinator are to:
-Organize weekly fits in conjunction with the Product Developer.
-Create a ‘sample pack’ for the factories, Tech Sheet, Fabric, Trims, Pattern, Pattern Measurements and Noted up Toile, in conjunction with the Product Development Team and Garment Tech
-Responsible for overseeing and maintaining all stock levels in the workrooms (fabrics, paper, card, sewing/ pattern equipment, trims, etc).
-Responsible for the work balance and work load between in ensuring the workroom is being utilized to its best capacity.
