An expanding FMCG company in Manchester looking to recruit a Regulatory Specialist to support NPD
Your new company
An established producer of FMCG products based in Manchester. They are doing incredibly well and are expanding their NPD team and are looking to recruit a Regulatory Specialist to support the NPD Manager. They work in a relaxed but focused working environment and have a fantastic team of people in an office that is well located for commuters and benefits from free onsite parking.
Your new role
Your position in the company plays a vital role in supporting new product launches. Working alongside a NPD Manager you will ensure all their newly developed products meet strict regulations both in their ingredients and packaging of their products. You will manage the information sent to and from the company and their suppliers. You will act as the technical point of contact for colleagues during the NPD process, compile and maintain product files, prepare product labels, issue labelling specifications, and review and approve artwork. As part of your role you will also keep an eye on the regulations and legislation regarding their current product on the market - you will be the eyes and the ears to ensure their products keep in line with industry rules and are updated or amended if changes occur or new policies are introduced. You will create, update and manage NPD documents and also manage an assistant.
What you'll need to succeed
This role would be best suited to you if you have a background in either Regulatory/Compliance, Product Development, Product Compliance, or QA Technology in either Health & Beauty, Toiletries, Auto Accessories, Car Cleaning, Household Grocery (laundry, detergents, cleaning products, air fresheners etc.), Food, Toys, Arts & Craft or any other consumer product where there's chemicals, regulations and packaging involved. Good understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel in particular (VLOOKUP / Pivot Table). Driving license and access to a car required.
