We have partnered with a beautiful, heritage luxury brand currently looking for a junior Wholesale Executive to join the growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring sales manager with 1 - 2 year experience to really establish and develop their career.

Main responsibilities:

* Receive all product data from production/development team and input on
to order system, ensuring all prices (in all relevant currencies) and product
information is correct before going to market
* Finalise and create line-sheet for sales campaign (tbc this may be handled
by the Design team), and review with Consultant Head of Wholesale before
going to market
* Ensure all key brand assets needed for the seasonal sales campaigns are
correct and ready ahead of market
* Assist with planning, organisation and execution of sales campaigns (incl.
location, organising samples and showroom furniture to Paris, models,
student volunteer support etc.), and appointments during market. The Junior
will be expected to conduct some appointments during market.
* Ensure the showroom is maintained to the highest standard under
supervision of the Consultant Head of Wholesale. This will involve making
sure a tight schedule and way of working is informed to and executed by all
volunteer student, models and supporting staff.
* Administrate all wholesale orders - input, triple check and send order
confirmations once orders have been reviewed with the production/
development team
* Work with the Consultant Head of Wholesale to provide seasonal analysis
and constructive feedback to key management that will aid in the building
of line and assortment plans, volume, margin, brand strategy and
merchandising requirements. I.e. Best sellers - per category, territory,
shape, colour, size etc., poor performers, previous season sell-thru's, key
retail showroom comments, highlight key opportunities for growth or
innovation etc.
* After sales support, including liaising with shipping and accounts team, plus
distribution of important communication and materials such as delivery
updates, shipping details, training materials, packaging, imagery, etc. to key
* Make sure to obtain and record all necessary logistics and packaging
information for each client order to ensure the DC has the correct
information to facilitate the smooth despatch of orders
* Liaise with the DC to handle any customer queries and coordinate response
* Contact all wholesale account and forwarders regarding delivery/collection
of goods from DC
* Monitoring the deliveries of all orders leaving the warehouse and ensuring
there are no delays
* Handle any customer feedback on faulty items, returns and re-orders.
Raising credit notes and re-orders efficiently and promptly where necessary
* Update all customers with an up to date stock list to encourage re-orders
* Ensuring all customer information, RTV's and re-orders are processed and
updated always
* Maintain and manage accurate samples and showroom equipment
* Provide ongoing analysis and forecasting support to the management
teams to aid in the achievement of brand objectives
* Create, distribute and lead seasonal staff trainings (either in person or
virtually) to all relevant staff including personal shoppers at key retail
* Maintain a comprehensive sell-thru log from key retail partners, to be
updated on a weekly basis dependent on flow of information from retail
* Clear communication with key production and development teams to
ensure strong and supportive internal working relations and create a
flowing work process for all targets to be met and exceeded
* Optimise the cost effectiveness of the Sales Force, and oversee travel,
entertainment and all related wholesale budgets; along with booking all
travel, accommodation, and showroom models where required
* Weekly status update meetings and at key dates with Consultant Head of
* Complete ad-hoc duties and projects as instructed by the Consultant Head
of Wholesale
Candidate requirements:
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a Sales Administrative or Operational role
* Experience with working in a showroom and with international retailers
* Keen administrative, planning and organisational skills
* Strong communication and analytical skills
* Exceptional eye for detail
* Excellent Excel skills and strong computer skills across Microsoft Suite
(Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign)
* Previous experience of using a computerised order management system
such as Zedonk
* Strong multi-tasker with proven ability to work under pressure and meet
* A good problem solver and strategic thinker
* A reliable team player with a 'can do' attitude, results orientated with a
positive outlook and focused approach
* Ability to work independently and under direction
* English speaking, other language such as French or Italian a bonus
