The main purpose of this role will be to audit UK facilities as required by major key local and international clients against a variety of social and technical audit protocols, ensuring working practices are implemented locally in accordance with documented procedures. You will act as lead social auditor and lead technical auditor on selected schemes, achieving an agreed personal chargeability target and providing technical input into sales activities as required. Undertake desktop reviews of self-assessment forms and corrective action plans; provide expert advice to the wider team through provision and support of country legal summaries. Training and mentoring of auditors in accordance with documented Global Procedures; witnessed audits to ensure that competence is maintained.

The successful candidate will be a qualified social auditor, meeting requirements in terms of education, training and experience. You will have professional experience of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and be SA8000 Lead Auditor Qualified; recognised sign-off (under client-specific scheme) as second-party auditor with experience in working across international boundaries. Ideally you will also be ISO9001 Lead Auditor qualified, already cross-trained for environmental, technical and C-TPAT audits with Health and Safety NEBOSH qualification.
