We are looking for some who has:
- Solid experience in the industry, currently at Merchandiser/Buyer level experience
- Line management experience
- Experience in fashion is essential (not necessarily footwear & accessories) with strong knowledge about the European market
As an experienced Manager, you will enjoy working as part of a team as well as being confident and able to self-motivate. You will be able to manage the day-to-day needs to the department without contact or direct support from your line manager. You will be analytical, with a commercial acumen, coupled with strong communication and relationship building skills. A strong knowledge of the UGG brand in EMEA, its target consumers and competitors is essential.
What will the role entail?
You will be the main UGG EMEA Product Merchandising contact with regards to all product queries. You will support the Head of Product Merchandising in delivering season product assortments and strategies that are both brand and trend right. To manage the UGG Lifestyle Go-To-Market process from start to finish including brief input, assortment planning and pricing. You will partner with the Head of Product Merchandising in all product range presentations (Footwear and Lifestyle).
Day to day duties include working alongside our Head of Product Merchandising in presenting strategic season merchandising plans including 'Go-To-Market' pack for Footwear & Lifestyle. You will be the Product Merchandise Lead for the Kookaburra by UGG brand and partner with other departments in the successful launch of the Koolaburra by UGG bread within EMEA. You will manage the set-up and maintenance of all season tools and timely distribution to stakeholders - line sheets, work books, seasonal buy recap and pricing uploads. You will maintain effective working relationships with key members of cross-functional teams, both in EMEA and our Global Head Office in California. With support from the PMA, own communication for all product related messages ensuring key stakeholders across the region are kept informed.
In addition to the above skills, our ideal candidates will have a CV that demonstrates:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel - intermediate to advanced desirable
- Good Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Strong managerial skills
