Territory Sales Manager
A supplier of household products seeking a Territory Sales Manager to work with stockists in the North and Midlands
Your new company
A leading supplier of household products. They have an available vacancy for a Field Merchandiser to support their network of stockists in the North and the Midlands to ensure their products look great in store and that all possible sales opportunities are maximised.
Your new role
You will be the first point of contact for your area and the overall purpose of your role is to support stockists in the North and Midlands. You will travel from store to store ensuring their products are given the best opportunity to perform well - you will ensure it is in the best possible location, is fully stocked and looking good. You will use your merchandising knowledge to adapt planograms to suit each stockist's unique space. You will regularly keep in touch and revisit stores to check on sales of product and implement merchandising updates. While visiting stores you will build good relationships and work closely with Managers to advise them on how to make the most of their space, and help them choose products to stock. You will advise them about new products available and will have access to a company iPad where you will be able to take and place orders.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have excellent planning and display skills in order to display product in the best way possible with the ability to read and implement planograms. You will represent the company and be an ambassador for the brand so it's important you are self-motivating, organised and are able to build and maintain good relationships. You must have a full, clean driving licence and be a confident driver as you will be driving from store to store. You should be flexible regarding travel and working hours, as there could potentially be some late evening and weekend working and occasional overnight stays may be required - overnight accommodation will be provided. You should be a proficient user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.

In return for your work you will receive a package of up to £25,000 OTE + Company Car + iPad + Mobile Phone. You will be joining a company that is performing very well in their market with an extensive customer base. You will spend time (approx. once a month) in their Yorkshire-based head office so will be able to gain experience in a head office environment. You will have the freedom to be able to work from home and plan your own journeys.
