Business Manager - Luxury Fragrance Brand

As Business Manager of one of the leading luxury Niche Fragrance Brands in London's Top Department store you will lead sales team to meet weekly, monthly and yearly targets, provide exceptional customer service and position the brand at the pinnacle of the department.
Acting as a Brand Ambassador you will build the business through exceptional team management, focus on client retention and establishing relationships with key departments across the store.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Leading the sales team to meet weekly (Stretch and Super Stretch) Targets, Monthly and Quarterly
· Setting exemplary standards of customer service
· Overseeing counter rotas and managing Sales Specialist paperwork
· Managing stock takes as appropriate, ensuring efficient stock holding of all products to avoid out of stock at all times
· Ensure all new stock is out on time, orders placed and shipments tracked into store to expedite to counter
· Development of team to be best in class
· Building strong relationships both internally and externally to build brand awareness within in the store and produce incremental sales.
· Create strong ties with other key departments to facilitate events and recruit new customers
· Implementing appropriate CRM tools and develop a client database.
· Set targets for the team to book a set number of appointments each day, building strong relationships with customers to continue to drive business during quiet times
· Working with Retail Sales Manager and Marketing to analyse the business, propose action plans to increase sales and set team targets
· Working with the buying team to maintain good stock levels and collateral levels
· Ensuring merchandise is properly managed, displayed and stored
· Develop and mentor counter manager to be a strong number two, supporting and enforcing strategy and focus and managing the team and business during absence
· Conducting regular training's with the counter team and department staff
· Working with the retail management team to adequately prepare for key seasons and trends
· Maintaining standards in accordance with company guidelines
· Acting as a Brand Ambassador
· Execute New Product Launches with excellence, set strong pre-launch planning of new products to ensure first week is a huge success

Skills & Experience required:

· Minimum 5 years experience in luxury retail sales
· Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role
· Knowledge and passion for fragrance
· Exceptional leadership skills
· Exemplary customer service skills
· Exceptional communication and networking skills
· Experience in developing a client database and CRM program
· Experience in formulating and conducting training programs
· Fluent in English, knowledge of a second language is a plus
