As a family business, established in 1974 Eric Ross Jewellers were one of the first jewellers to arrive in Hatton Garden. Now three generations later they are the top retailer in London’s diamond capital, and their reputation has given them the opportunity to supply one of the country’s largest jewellery retailers with bespoke pieces. Having the largest on-site workshop in Hatton Garden they are able to accommodate every need for a customer – all part of the highest level of service expected from this prestigious jewellers.
In the run up to Christmas, the opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Sales Consultant to join the team. You will be selling high end jewellery and luxury watches so a passion for these products is crucial.
Only the highest standards of presentation in store, whether of the merchandise or of the sales consultants themselves, are acceptable. Likewise your communications with customers, you will be expected to be instinctively and unfailingly polite and conversationally fluent, offering every visitor a “VIP” customer experience.
You must be constantly alert and watchful, ready to step in where necessary to ensure that every sales-related task, whether related to your own clientele or that of a colleague, is completed precisely and within the promised delivery timeframe.
The ideal candidate will have a few years’ experience selling Jewellery and watches; the need is for a top sales individual who can come in and hit the ground running, delivering excellent customer service and making sales.
Being based London’s diamond capital, we need someone who is a fast thinker and skilled at ‘closing a sale’ – you will be surrounded by the competition of neighboring Jewellers so it is essential that you are able to think on your feet to make a successful sale.
A sale is so often the culmination of that comes before. We are searching for an individual who believes in preparation and detail, and is genuinely interested in building their product knowledge and perfecting their service standards – somebody whose presence and maturity will convey a uniqueness that remains imprinted in the minds of your customers, so that following their first purchase experience you become ‘my contact at Eric Ross Jewellers’, the first port of call for friends and family and beyond, on every appropriate future occasion.
