STORE MANAGER, BURRELLS
STORE MANAGER, BURRELLS
LUXURY WATCH AND JEWELLERY RETAILER
ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS, KENT
Attractive salary + monthly performance bonus + service-related benefits
Established in 1974, Burrells is a family-owned Independent Retail Jeweller of considerable regional repute. The business is renowned for bringing to market spectacular collections of watches from the finest brands, as well as exquisite diamond and gemstone jewellery.
The business prides itself on its well qualified, experienced and highly motivated personnel, who thrive in operating to exacting standards. Every Burrells store is incredibly service-focused, and the fabulous BURRELLS BOUTIQUE in Tunbridge Wells is recognized as an exemplar of all that is best in UK Watch and Jewellery retailing.
Our quest now is to find a worthy Store Manager who shares our client’s yearning to be recognised as the best in the industry, and who by dint of his or her sound commercial astuteness is able to reinforce best practice and move store trading to ever higher levels of success.
The perfect background for the successful candidate will be a track record of success in managing a stand-alone store, ideally within the Retail Jewellery sector. Experience dealing with luxury watches, diamonds and jewellery will of course be advantageous.
Nevertheless, should your management pedigree have blossomed in a different but similarly aspirational retail sphere, such as cosmetics, luxury goods, fragrance, or high-end fashion, then provided you are willing and able quickly to assimilate product technicalities, and can demonstrate customer service passion already as discerning as that of our client, you are also very welcome to apply.
You will immediately recognize that the key to securing enduring customer patronage in this very service-focused environment is sincere and genuine customer engagement.
Naturally attentive, no minor detail escapes your oversight, be it stock, brand display and merchandising standards - or for that matter your in-store staff.
Priding yourself on your strong communicational skills, you are at ease orchestrating talent to best effect within this very busy environment.
In your career to date you can demonstrate positive outcomes in team development, such that your collective expertise has been recognized by suppliers as best in class. With your firm conviction that the best can always be bettered, you are ever available to challenge and heighten floor trading standards, identifying learning and development opportunities, while being equally swift to celebrate and reinforce existing good practice.
Your future colleagues are highly experienced both in sales and in their product specialities; however there is always scope for greater inspiration, coaching and training from you to imbue in them your expectations of performance and customer service excellence.
Furthermore you are perceptive with regard to identifying trading opportunities beyond the confines of the store’s bricks and mortar.
You are observant when it comes to local retail talent, and as the store continues to grow in customer reach and financial success, it is likely that promising individuals will wish to be in your hiring sights well before any recruitment opportunities actually arise.
In short, this is a highly desirable opportunity to secure an influential Store Management role within an excellent company, working with superb brands and a team eager to help you win further industry accolade. For your chance to be considered, send your CV to Jolyon Marshall at JML today.
