Established supplier with a commercial presence on the high street is looking for a talented Account Manager to join their womenswear team in London. This is an exciting role that has brilliant growth opportunities with the potential for the right person to develop within the company and eventually become a Senior Account Manager.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a supplier as an assistant account manager or an account manager and be eager to progress in the fashion industry with the opportunity to start by managing smaller accounts for the company. Liaising and building relationships with clients is key therefore strong garment construction knowledge and communication skills are necessary when attending meetings. In addition this role will also support a senior Account Manager working to a critical path, liaising with overseas suppliers and approving fabric samples, lab dips, strike offs and have knowledge of working with prints. Strong admin skills are beneficial as order information will need to be updated and managed at all times including organising delivery of all orders plus negotiating prices throughout production to maximise potential profits. You will have to be very passionate, organised and determined to learn and work hard as this is a great role with exciting potential for the right person.
