Luxury clothing retailer requires a freelance handbag designer to join them from the 1st February on a freelance basis until the end of May.

Purpose of the project: to design 10 styles and 30 options


*Preparation of designs and specs for their Bag and accessories for SS20 only
*Work with the Creative Director to define the identity of the new bags and accessories
*Attend meetings with the Creative Director or such person as may be appointed by the Company to discuss and develop ideas for the Collection
*Participate in iconographic research and vintage research following Creative Director's instructions
*Ensure that the Consultant will personally attend all meetings jointly agreed between the parties throughout the Term
*Provide plans on themes, concepts, designs, sketches, materials and peripheral materials, colors, specifications for bags and accessories
*Design and develop the products together with the in-house Project Manager and Product Developer of our Italian factory or such person as may be appointed by the Company
*Source the adequate materials to each design with a leather agent approved by the Company
*Provide technical information relating the designs for the purpose of enabling the Company to plan and create a line of branded bags and accessories
*Sign off on sales samples/look book samples
*Check samples and provide modifications to designs or materials, hardware for commercial production
*Provide ideas on the use of logo and product packaging
