An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new position as a Buying/Wholesale Assistant within our company. This is an exciting time to be part of a business who are experiencing rapid growth.

Job Description:

The Buying/Wholesale Assistant will be predominately office based and will offer administrative support to the Buying and Wholesale Managers.

They would be responsible for the order tracking of confirmed orders, supplier liaison and maintenance of the delivery schedule. They will be involved in organising fit sessions, sample management and help with preparing samples for various meetings/shows. They would be involved in the set up and maintenance of our website for new collections and product areas.

They would take ownership for wholesale order entry, both pre-season and in season, ensuring all prices and delivery details are communicated clearly and efficiently to the customer. They would be responsible for the maintenance of the orders from confirmation to delivery and invoicing.

The Buying/Wholesale Assistant would support close liaison with suppliers, wholesale agents and worldwide customers to constantly update on our product range.  They may also be expected to help support at trade shows, pop up shops and fairs.  They would be expected to support the organisation of wholesale meetings and showroom appointments as well as general office management.

Profile:

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who has good time management and organisational skills. They will need to be able to operate various wholesale, warehouse & website systems as well as have strong excel and email skills.

The ideal candidate will have buying or wholesale experience, however this is not essential as long as they have a passion for the product and have worked within a similar office environment and hold general administrative skills.
