An exciting opportunity as an Assistant Merchandiser role with a Major Retail Business in Birmingham.
Your new company
You will be working for a leading Sportswear Brand in Birmingham supporting the Retail team ensuring that products are delivered on time to customers & ensuring the products are of the highest quality to adhere to brand guidelines. They are a well known Sportswear brand with a great reputation in the industry.
Your new role
You will be supporting the Retail team managing the critical path to ensure that internal departments and performance teams receive product on time. Your role will involve management of the stock systems, submitting inventory reports on a weekly basis and ensuring that all stock is accounted for. You will also be overseeing product approval ensuring that all products are to the highest standard possible and also looking at recommendations within growth opportunities for category sales, margin and availability.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, the client are looking for a candidate who has experiencing managing the critical path and managing external suppliers as well as an understanding of supply chain. You will need experience report building and data analysing as you will be conducting stock management within the role. You will also need a strong understand of Excel to be considered for this role. A knowledge of retail buying and seasonal lead-times will also help you to stand out.
