A Manchester retailer with an excellent benefits scheme is seeking a Junior Merchandiser
Your new company
A major retail business with their head office in Manchester. Due to internal promotion they now have a position available for a Junior Merchandiser to join their strong team of merchandisers and drive the company forward.
Your new role
You will be reporting into the Senior Merchandiser and your responsibility will be to leading the team to deliver profit plans and sales & using your Merchandising skills to prepare and collate regular feedback to the Buying team regarding current performance and emerging trends in order to maximise sales in trade meetings. You will also be managing the delivery and shipment deadlines, identifying risk to ensure accurate intake of stock according to plan levels, provide weekly updates on map/intake issues. You will make the most of any opportunity to increase profitability, suggesting markdowns and promotions where appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be analytical and highly numerate. The ideal candidate will currently be a Senior Assistant Merchandiser looking to progress or a current Junior Merchandiser looking for a new challenge. You will be an excellent communicator and have great team building skills to enable to you to be an asset to the current Merchandising team.
